Harris Rosen Foundation Haiti Relief and Sustainability Efforts
The Harris Rosen Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, has joined forces with various Haitian Community Leaders to provide direct assistance to the citizens of Haiti. Most recently, the Foundation has focused on helping the victims of the 2010 earthquake. For over a decade, the Harris Rosen Foundation has collected and personally delivered food, water filters, school supplies and medical supplies to the citizens of Haiti. Thanks to generous donors, the Little Haiti House Project will provide housing opportunities for hundreds of families.

We continue to face obstacles that slow us down, but we will not give up on our dream of the Little Haiti House Village. After some feedback from members of the Hinche community, we have added bedrooms to our little house model.

We hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season with their loved ones. We know this is not the case for many brothers and sisters in Haiti. We want them to know that although the process has been slow, we have not stopped working to make the Little Haiti House Village a reality.
Currently we are waiting for clearance to build our first model home in Hinche, Haiti. A family will live in it for three to four months and give us feedback that will help us improve our concept. Our materials for the house have already made it to Haiti and we will be ready to pour the slab and build in January.
We are excited for this big step and cannot wait to share more updates with you in the coming months.
