The Harris Rosen Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, has joined forces with Senator Bill Nelson’s Office and various local Haitian Community Leaders to provide direct assistance to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. In the past the Harris Rosen Foundation has collected and personally delivered food, water filters, school supplies and medical supplies to the citizens of Haiti. Now it’s time to send emergency relief to the people in need.
100% of your contribution will go toward purchasing much needed supplies. All items will be delivered by the Foundation’s own Task Force with the help of Senator Bill Nelson’s Office. All donations are tax-deductible.

The Harris Rosen Foundation Haiti Relief Team returned home safely on Saturday, February 6th touched by the destruction they witnessed. During their time in Haiti the team saw physical destruction like no other, but the most impactful images were those of broken hearts seen through the eyes of the people.
All of the donated items scheduled for delivery during our first trip were presented to Double Harvest in Port au Prince, Ruska Village in Croix des Bouquet, Cardinal Hospital in Leogane, and the Salesian Nun organization in Port au Prince. We are now making arrangements for our next trip to Haiti to continue transporting much needed items such as medical supplies and food.
We want to thank all of you who have donated supplies and money toward our relief effort. One of our largest supply donors was VOSS Water who delivered 6,120 1-liter bottles of water to our warehouse to be transported to Haiti. We also want to recognize the students of Acceleration Academy in Orlando who raised $1,000 toward our cause by hosting bake sales and “dress-down” Fridays.
The Little Haiti House Project, which is part of our rebuilding phase, continues to be a priority for the Harris Rosen Foundation. The Little Haiti House prototype will be on display at the 2010 Central Florida Home & Garden Show in the Orange County Convention Center from March 19th to March 21st. Join us for a special event on the evening of March 20th where you can check out the house and sample delicious dishes from award-winning Rosen Hotels’ restaurants including Jack’s Place, Everglades and A Land Remembered. Plus, enjoy complimentary wine from Southern Wine & Spirits and Opici Wine Company. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go toward our Haiti Relief-Rebuild-Sustain projects. Tickets for this event are only $25 and include free admission to the Home & Garden Show. They can be purchased online from the Florida Home Shows website while supplies last.
