Background

  • Received an Associate Degree in Hospitality Management from the Sullivan County Community College in Loch Sheldrake, New York
  • Awarded a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the Florida International University in Miami, Florida
  • Worked at the Miami Airport Marriott as the Front Desk Manager
  • Moved to the Marriott's' Orlando World Center as part of the opening team as Director of Guest Services and Front Office Manager
  • Started her career at Rosen Hotels & Resort in August 2002 as the Hotel Service Manager at Rosen Centre® Hotel
  • Served on the Rosen Shingle Creek pre-opening team as a Project Manager
  • Continued as Project Manager for all Rosen Hotels & Resorts properties
  • Promoted to Director of Rosen Standards April of 2012

At Rosen Hotels & Resorts

  • Oversees consistency of all hotel design
  • Ensures the integrity of renovations are maintained
  • Assists in planning and execution of renovations and capital improvement projects
  • Monitors and ensures that public and associate areas are maintained to Rosen’s high quality standards
  • Performs property inspections
  • Involved in renovations of and projects for Rosen Shingle Creek, Rosen Centre®, Rosen Plaza®, and all four leisure hotels
  • Implements procedures, maintains design consistency, and works at meeting guest expectations in all our hotels at all times
  • She volunteers in mentoring programs and “Teach-Ins” at local high schools

Susan Caronia

As the director who sets and upholds the Rosen Standard, Susan puts value and quality in all she does. She understands the importance of striving for excellence. In doing so, she leads by example, genuinely loves what she does, and never sweats the small stuff. Her personal beliefs shine in her work and in her motto, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13”
