The Golden Pillar Award process begins with associates nominating their co-workers who exemplify the Rosen Hotels & Resorts Pillars of Our Strength: smile, appearance, courtesy, phone impression, job knowledge, communication, problem solving, pride in property, teamwork and golden rule. Then, leaders at the individual properties and offices gather to evaluate the nominees and determine who will be recognized as this year’s winner.
Also presented, the Harris Rosen Leadership Award, in honor of the company’s founder, Harris Rosen. It recognizes associates at the manager level or above for their outstanding achievements. Associates making an impact in specialized areas like the safety, fitness and community service were also recognized.
