February 2, 2026 – Rosen Tangelo Park Preschool and Rosen Parramore Preschool (PS8) celebrated Literacy Week (January 26 – 30) to highlight the value of stories and reading. The weeklong celebration featured leaders and associates from Rosen Hotels & Resorts and community partners Addition Financial Credit Union, BBIF, 4Roots, AdventHealth, Fundamental Wellbeing Foundation and VyStar Credit Union, among others, who participated as guest readers, delivering a positive and educational message to the students. One of the guest readers was Daralene Jones, co‑anchor of Channel 9 Eyewitness News, who visited both preschools to read the children’s book she authored, “Luke Learns,” to students.

Together, these appearances provided students with a dynamic and enriching Literacy Week experience, reinforcing the importance of both education and community connection.
