Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center to Host 2023 U.S. Paralympics Swimming Championships in Orlando

Orlando, FL (September 26, 2023) – The Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center announced today it will host the 2023 U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships, presented by Toyota. This is the first time U.S. Paralympics Swimming will host their annual competition in Orlando. The competition will feature many of the nation’s top Para swimmers and veteran athletes competing for national titles. This three-day competition will run from December 15th to December 17th, 2023.

The Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center is nationally known as one of the fastest competition pools, and recently garnered attention when Olympic great Katie Ledecky shattered her own freestyle record. Highlighted by an eight-lane, 50-meter competition pool, RAFC also recently hosted the water competitions for the 2022 Special Olympics USA competition.

“We are extremely excited that the Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center will play host to this year’s U.S. Paralympic Swimming National Championships,” said philanthropist Harris Rosen, whose foundation has owned the facility since 2020. “As always, our mission remains to maintain a world-class facility that will always provide dynamic experiences for all of our participants. We work very hard to be the best partner not only for the Orlando community but also on a national level. It is therefore with tremendous pride that we have been afforded the opportunity to share in what will certainly be a memorable experience for the talented athletes who will be competing at our facility. We look forward to celebrating their collective achievements,” Rosen added.

“The Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center in Orlando is the perfect place for this year’s national championships,” said Erin Popovich, Director, U.S.Paralympics Swimming. “We are looking forward to watching Team USA compete this December.”

“We are proud to welcome U.S. Paralympics Swimming to Orlando’s Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center for the 2023 U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships,” said Jason Siegel, President & CEO of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission. “We are confident that these elite athletes and their coaches and families will have an incredibly positive experience while they are visiting and competing.”
