Rosen Hotels & Resorts Unveils Extensive Renovation Plans for two of its Award-Winning Convention Hotels, Rosen Shingle Creek and Rosen Plaza

The project, which is the most significant renovation in the company’s 52-year history, involves redesigning 2,300 guest rooms, suites and corridors at both hotels, in addition to widespread upgrades within Rosen Shingle Creek’s 524,000 square feet of event space. This comprehensive undertaking reimagines every hallway and guest room from floor to ceiling, reflecting the company’s commitment to delivering world-class accommodations, advanced in-room technology, elevated amenities and exceptional guest service. Conceptualized and driven by RHR’s in-house design team, this landmark revitalization will total more than $150 million once complete in the fall of 2026 for Rosen Plaza and in 2027 for Rosen Shingle Creek, the company’s flagship property.

Surrounded by 255 acres of natural beauty along Shingle Creek, the headwaters of the Florida Everglades, this luxury hotel’s guest rooms have been meticulously tailored to deliver a rejuvenated blend of comfort and sophistication. The new rooms are fashioned with bold patterns, warm tones, rich walnut and curated artwork to create a layered experience that feels both polished and personal. Custom furnishings enrich the rooms while emphasizing extreme comfort. Sculptural lighting, crafted millwork and sleek stone finishes enhance RHR’s aesthetic direction, intentionally modeled for long-term resilience. Expansive windows frame sweeping views of the lush landscape, bringing natural light into the guest room experience. Spa-inspired bathrooms feature spacious vanities, bespoke amenities, glass-enclosed walk-in showers, oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, Italian travertine and multi-functional shower systems. Flexible, multi-use spaces support work, rest and relaxation, while integrated smart controls and industry-leading Wi-Fi connectivity cater to the modern-day traveler. Oversized windows capture sunlit, panoramic city views while commissioned artwork brings personality and pops of color to each experience. Contemporary bathrooms feel sleek and refreshed with walk-in showers, custom amenities, speckled terrazzo flooring and Zellige-inspired wall tiles.
